DeClutter
• Pack up all knickknacks
• Clean everything off kitchen counters and office areas.
• Organize closets and cabinets.
• Remove pieces of furniture that have no purpose.
REMOVE ITEMS
• If you want to take window coverings and other fixtures with you when you move, remove them now and replace with similar items.
CLEAN
• When you flip the pages of Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware catalogs, you do not see dirtyrugs, smudged glass and dishes in the sink. Make your space sparkle!
CHECK CURB APPEAL
• Remove all toys, bicycles, tools, and debris from your yard.
• Edge your sidewalks and driveway
• Keep the lawn mowed, raked, fertilized and watered.
• Trim the bushes and remove all weeds.
• Plant flowers in containers by the doors and patios.
• Paint doors, trim, and siding where needed.
• During increment weather, shovel driveway and walkways and put ice melt down.
MAKE REPAIRS
• Paint your walls if needed/ Putty and paint nail holes.
• Touch up chipped paint throughout
• Replace burned out light bulbs
• Fix doors and drawers
• Fix any plumbing issues
• Replace cracked tiles
• Re-caulk tubs and showers
• Make sure your basement is dry and odor free.
